From now up until January 2012 your favourite bar will be serving hot festive beverages to help you combat the winter cold! We are offering hot cider flavoured with vanilla and cinnamon and, of course, Mulled wine! It may still only be November but don’t we all really just want to get into the Christmas swing as soon as possible?
Tapas Tuesday
Say Hola to Tapas Tuesdays! We are now serving our freshly prepared Spanish favourites every Tuesday from 6-9pm. Better yet, our Tapas menu is only £20 for two people! Includes 4 Tapas dishes from our menu + A bottle of house wine (red, white or rose). BRING SOME SPANISH SUNSHINE TO YOUR WORKING WEEK!
The Fantastic FunkySessions!
On Saturday the 4th of June DV8 Bar was more like a club when we held one of our regular FunkySessions nights! The atmosphere was electric and the lads pumped out their unique brand of house music until the early hours. If you were unlucky enough to miss it here are some pictures… The next one is this Saturday (18th June) – get yourself down for another fantastic night!

Festive Season opening times
DV8 bar will be open throughout the festive season and operating the usual opening hours serving food and drink to all of our customers. This is with the exception of the following dates: Christmas Eve – Open until 4.00am* Christmas Day – Closed all day Boxing Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. New Years Eve – Open until 5.00am* New Years Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. We hope to see you all there! * Food will be served until the bar becomes too busy. If you want to eat we would suggest that arrive early to avoid disappointment!
The Bar
DV8 is a hidden gem tucked away from the bustle of Congleton town centre. The décor throughout is sumptuous and inviting, and every effort has been made to ensure that the Tudor character and charm of the original building is retained. Opulent with comfy couches to lounge around, ample space to dance away and a decadent courtyard to sit back in, DV8 is an ultra chic yet totally informal venue.
The Courtyard
The perfect place to chill outside is finally here, completely enclosed by the bar, our courtyard is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer or one of our fabulous cocktails. Sit back, relax and don’t worry about getting up as our table service will tend to all your liquid needs! It’s also the perfect place for a spot of alfresco dining, why not relax with some great locally sourced food and enjoy the summer.

One Year On Party
If you remember back a bit (a year almost to the day) DV8 Bar was badly damaged by thoughtless vandals. Now one year on and back from the flames we are proud to announce the best year in business we’ve had yet. And what better way to celebrate than with a… PARTY! Yes folks, it’s planned to be the party of the year with a vodka luge, live entertainment and plenty of toasts! So make sure you keep 28th – 29th August Free!!!
