DV8 bar will be open throughout the festive season and operating the usual opening hours serving food and drink to all of our customers. This is with the exception of the following dates: Christmas Eve – Open until 4.00am* Christmas Day – Closed all day Boxing Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. New Years Eve – Open until 5.00am* New Years Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. We hope to see you all there! * Food will be served until the bar becomes too busy. If you want to eat we would suggest that arrive early to avoid disappointment!
The Funky Sessions

One Year On Party
If you remember back a bit (a year almost to the day) DV8 Bar was badly damaged by thoughtless vandals. Now one year on and back from the flames we are proud to announce the best year in business we’ve had yet. And what better way to celebrate than with a… PARTY! Yes folks, it’s planned to be the party of the year with a vodka luge, live entertainment and plenty of toasts! So make sure you keep 28th – 29th August Free!!! Up and coming Funky Sessions
Funky Sessions – Saturday 7th August If you like a great atmosphere where people are having a fantastic time then Funky Sessions is a night you need to check out. We have our resident DJ Rich Fleury playing the best funky sounds around and the amazing bar staff are on hand to serve you your favourite cocktails and wines with the best selection of larges to…o. So put this date in your diary and get yourselves down to DV8 to experience a fabulous night. Bar Closure Notice The bar will be closed 11am – 4pm Sunday 8th August for a private christening. Normal service will resume after 4pm.
New DV8 Summer Menu
Here at DV8 we’ve decided to welcome in this beautiful weather with a brand new summer food menu. As well as doing breakfasts for all you hungry folk on the way to work in the morning we’ve added a few summer favourites to our menu for you to enjoy in the quaint surroundings of our courtyard and bar area. Don’t forget, DV8 funky sessions is back on the 26th July. Be sure to attend as DJ Rich Fleury spins the decks and fills the room with funk!
Introducing The DV8 Big Breakfast
As of NOW DV8 Bar will be opening from 11am serving bacon rolls, tea cakes, coffee and teas with normal lunch still being served from 12pm. Football Free Zone! Don’t forget, DV8 Bar is still THE place to escape the world cup! So come down to your favourite bar and enjoy our great range of cocktails, wines and spirits, relax in the courtyard and take in the eclectic house tunes we will be playing… DV8 – the retreat from the world cup!!

A great friend and regular at DV8 Bar is leaving Britain for the sun of Australia. Ben Glimmerveen has been a familiar face at DV8 since we opened and all the team would like to wish him good luck! DV8 re-open the top floor lounge!
Its taken a while but god was it worth it! The top floor lounge at DV8 is back open. With brand new furniture, and lush decoration, it sure is the place to chill and relax with your friends. If you need service our waitresses are always available to take your drinks order at no extra charge! Perfect for that gathering over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Weekend of the 5th Another brilliant weekend was had by Congleton revellers, DV8 was packed to the gills again over the weekend, Rich Fleury did the usual stunning mix of fresh funky tunes for the masses and a good weekend was had by all our customers.
