With the Christmas season now well upon us here our the opening times and information for the bar through to the New Year: Mad Friday (21st December) – Open all day and night with live music from Richie Dews Saturday (22nd December) – Open all day and night – 60-70-80′s disco all evening Christmas Eve – Open all day and night – Sing along classics old and new Christmas Day – Closed all day Boxing day (no food) – Open from 6pm New Year Day (no food) – Open from 6pm NYE – Early doors from 7pm – £3 on door and DJ’s doing all sorts from the past years! DV8 staff Christmas party
My my my, what a night it was… As Christmas and New Year is our busiest period, we always make sure our staff get a night to let their hair down good and proper. After visiting the Chillfactore for a “tubing” experience (see the earlier post with Callum the stuntman) we all piled off for a slap up dinner and plenty of drinks. With music supplied by good old Rich Fleury (mainly a pile of cheese, but hey!) we danced well into the night and had a brilliant time! See the “edited” pictures below…

Festive Season opening times
DV8 bar will be open throughout the festive season and operating the usual opening hours serving food and drink to all of our customers. This is with the exception of the following dates: Christmas Eve – Open until 4.00am* Christmas Day – Closed all day Boxing Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. New Years Eve – Open until 5.00am* New Years Day – Open in the evening only (6.00pm onwards) – not serving food. We hope to see you all there! * Food will be served until the bar becomes too busy. If you want to eat we would suggest that arrive early to avoid disappointment!
NYE 2009 party and DV8′s 1st Birthday bash!
All the team at DV8 wish you all a very happy new year! The NYE party at DV8 bar was a fantastic night out and everyone that came had a great time. See below for some pictures from the night. Also… coming up at DV8 is our first birthday bash which will be held over the 26th and 27th February. It is set to be a wild weekend! Hi all, Just to let all you deviants know there are only 10, that’s 10 tickets left for Christmas and New Year. You can buy a ticket by dropping into the bar, it’s as simple as that! Make sure you do though as its gonna be a party you won’t forget. It’s our first Christmas and New Year open and we are going ALL OUT! Also, make sure you check out the new “Latest Funky Sessions Mix” player, its over there to the right. We will be adding latest mixes from our in house DJ, Rick Fleury as and when we get the chance so make sure you check back regularly. It’s just a short 15min (on average) mix, but the tunes are fantastic and you won’t hear the mix anywhere else… unless you come to the bar!
